How to Get Married in Manama, Bahrain (For Filipinos)

For Filipinos currently living in Bahrain and wish to enter into marriage, the following documents must be submitted to the Philippine Embassy. Below are the requirements and procedures Pinoy applicants need to secure.

Pinoy Marriage Guidelines at the Philippine Embassy in Bahrain

Requirements for getting married at the Philippine Embassy (FOR FILIPINO NATIONALS ONLY)

1. Certification from the Civil registrar of his/her locality or from the Civil Registrar General in Manila that he/she is single to be Authenticated by the National Statistic Office (NSO), Malacanang Office & Department of Foreign Affairs, Manila
2. No Objection letter from both employer/sponsor
3. Two (2) witnesses each that will prove that they are both single
4. Parental consent if ages below 18 years (if parents are in the Philippines) notarized by nearest notary public, authenticated by Regional Trial Court, Malacanang Office & Department of Foreign Affairs
5. Birth Certificate to be Authenticated by the National Statistic Office (NSO), Malacanang Office & Department of Foreign Affairs, Manila
6. photocopies of applicants’ passports
7. Two (2) pictures each 2X2;
8. Report of Marriage Forms (available at the Embassy)
9. Application for Marriage license and Joint Affidavit (form available in the Embassy)
10. Embassy Marriage Fee is BD97.200

REQUIREMENTS FOR REPORT OF MARRIAGE

1. 4 copies – forms (available in the Embassy)
2. 4 copies – passport (both)
3. 4 copies – Marriage Contract to be authenticated by the Ministry of Justice & Islamic Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
4. 4 copies – Certification from the Civil Registrar of his/her locality or from the Civil Registrar General in Manila that he/she is single and should be authenticated by the National Statistic Office (NSO), Malacanang Office & Department of Foreign Affairs, Manila
